Abuelo’s Gluten-Free Restaurant
Abuelo’s was opened in 1989. It was started when entrepreneurs James Young, Chuck Anderson, and Dirk Rambo opened the first Abuelo’s Mexican restaurant in Amarillo, Texas. The goal of owners was to open a restaurant that serves made-from-scratch and delicious Mexican food at everyday prices. They also wanted to create a place where people of all age groups can come together to enjoy Mexican food with Mexican culture and art.
After nearly a decade, several restaurants were opened in 13 states throughout America.
Each dish is made from Chef Luis E. Sanchez’s family recipes.
