Little Caesar Enterprises Inc. is the thirst largest pizza chain in United States. It operates and also franchises in the United States and internationally in Asia, the Middle East, Canada, Australia, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

The company was founded in 1959  in Detroit, Michigan. The headquarters is in Fox Theatre building in Downtown. Little caesars operate as a subsidiary of Ilitch Holdings, Inc.

History of Little Caesars

Mike Ilitch and his wife Marian Ilitch founded Little Caesars. The first location was in a strip mall in Garden City, Michigan.

In 1998, it filled the largest pizza order of 13,386 from the VF Corporation of Greensboro, North Carolina. 

Starting in 2004, Little Caesars started offering a large pepperoni pizza sold for $5. Little Caesars was one of the first to use a new kind of speed-cooking conveyor oven, the “Rotary Air Impingement Oven”.

In 2014, They announced their plan of 8 story building to be built at Woodward Avenue and Columbia Street in downtown Detroit.  The location was chosen near the Fox Office Center building. The building would house both the Fox Theatre and 186,000 square feet of office space for Little Caesars. 

In 2016, it was announced that floors for the building had grown by 1 floor, that is, the building would now be nine floors.

The company launched the slightly updated logo in 2017 and started advertising with its updated logo. They updated Caesar’s chest hair, the wreath, and the toga to have hidden letters “LC” for “Little Caesars”.
